In the context of the world we are in today, how important is it that you hear from God? Do you really want to know what God’s will is for your life? It could be a destiny altering occasion. Adam heard God. So did Abraham, Jacob, Moses, Samuel, David and all of the prophets. Then we read the words of Jesus Christ when he said, “My sheep hear my voice.” In the Scriptures there is an expectation that we hear from God. But what if we are not in the place to listen? I’d say the price of not hearing God is immensely more costly than hearing from him.
